I made this a bit straighter into a calypso samba tune. The main idea for the chorus was Echo and the Bunnymen song that I don't recall, and I did feel the need to include the scat part I threw in the original recording as a way to thumb my nose at the precious folk scene. In a silly love song, maybe as a nod to Paul McCartney. In a bit at the end, I had to pay tribute to Kristy MacNicol who did a lot of love latinesque music in this vein with the salsa horn section.
