This old traditional folk song is given a sort of island treatment here, where 25 years ago I played this as banjo tune more influenced by Mike Seeger than Toots and the Maytals. And maybe it's a little Sloop John B. I was always puzzled how to play this with a band and maybe this is the way to go. Meanwhile I play everything.
